Thought I’d try my hand at a little pinned introduction post ! (*´∇｀*)

Hello!! Y’all can call me Dee, Deebs, Db, or literally any variation of my handle you can think of o(^▽^)o

I go by any pronouns, so refer to me by literally whatever you want, I don’t mind

I go through fandoms kind of chaotically, so I’m sorry if you follow me for something specific and I switch it up suddenly! I kind of just go where the dopamine takes me

At the moment my main interests/hyperfixations right now are The Long Walk and 9-1-1 (the tv show), however I’m also really into birds and horses

I tend to yap a lot, so apologies in advance if you ever see one of my posts in the wild (-∧-；)

I’m also very open to asks from anyone about anything! (But especially my au’s!!) If you want to ask about an au, or just have a fun little doodle request for one of my au’s don’t be afraid to shoot me an ask!!

Reasons my human has cried:

* New student, very small. Grace said it was pebble. Pebble is small Earth rock. Pebble likes name.

* He found out Eridians have no gender rules.

* Students brought him mineral sample. After he stopped crying he said he loves show-and-tell game. Human naming conventions oddly literal.

* I told him Earthsun grew bright.

* I took him up atop atmosphere bypass elevator to look at stars.

* He woke up from nap and found me still with him. I did not wait on his chest; he says I am heavy like “elephant” and he “couldn’t breathe.” I laid my arm over him instead, kept him close, feeling safe. He said “cuddle” was warm.

* Before class he heard younglings singing.

* He has plants in house from sprouts on ship. Plant grew “bud.”

* Engineers got seawater temperature right. He took off shoes and stood in water, sighing. He didn’t care about pants getting damp. Cried until shirt was also damp. Humans very endlessly wet.

* He missed “Doritos.”

* Adrian helped food scientists make taumoeba dried paste. Made it crunchy after heating. We fused it into triangle form. Told him it was Tauritos. That made him laugh-cry. Laugh-cry is rare and precious.

* He remembered Eridians have no gender rules.

* We made him celebration outfit. Used metals he calls pretty. He can see frequencies named “colorful” and “shiny.” These make humans happiest.

* I gave him hug when he wasn’t expecting it. Easier to hug close now with exosuit. Hug when Grace sitting down so he does not fall over.

* Told him to think long time, stay with me as long as he can.

BBC Merlin is insane as a show. Its an adaptation of Arthurian mythos. It's inspired by CW's Smallville (this is 100% real look it up). it stars 4 unknown 20 somethings and British acting legends. It's aimed at kids and families. its a tragedy. Its campy as hell. It will make you cry. It asks you, like Merlin, to believe in the Golden age of Camelot. It never shows you that Golden age. Everyone in the show is the most beautiful person you'll ever see. people will clown on the CGI. Its one of the most homerotic shows of the 2000's. Its an on purpose allegory for queerphobia, but those allegorious queer characters are largely villains. If you watched it when you were 12 you will never quite be able to let it go. This is a curse. This is an experience you wouldn't give up for the world.

I keep thinking about Eridians and Rocky’s gem from Adrian and his celebration outfit.

The little stone rocky had from adrian was literally in his arm, and it made me think about Grace getting a stone like that from Rocky, which lead to me wondering if Grace could have it in his skin somehow. Earrings. Earrings would be perfect for this.

I was ALSO thinking about Rocky’s celebration outfit- who’s to say Grace can’t have something similar? Celebration jewellery for the local alien! Earrings that dangle and make pretty sounds when Grace moves.
