always such a shame when arrivals come with more destructive circumstances. it's first time arriving on this poor planet had lead to something similar--although with artificial destruction by a paranoia plagued one eyed man. it supposed this world was very lucky that the percentage chance of something going terribly wrong was so high that temporary disrespect was met with a unit's kindness rather than any form of wrath.
predictive data had begun to flood before the crash had occurred; each possibility ringing between a mechanical mind as he took in his present surroundings. to live in a moment while living both galaxies away in thousands of billions of years in the future; incomprehensible to most living minds, and mechanically breaking to most systems. a curious wonder came if it were to upload even a fraction into this ... ah what was it called, ihi yes; ihi-om-02. an intention to be kind--polite--came first, even as the little thing reacted so sporadically in it's own sort of way. he had half the mind to not say a word, let a machine run circles around the idea of an angel simply blessing it's presence by merely existing.
--but then, unit hated to be cruel; and the path taken that way would be utterly boring by comparison to talking directly. although choosing specific terms would prove better results than letting everything come back in droves.
it wasn't sol's time to be joined into universal utopia. sol had an unfortunately low chance of being around in it's entirety by the time that happens. and how sad! he enjoyed how against the mold sol seemed to be. how often the paths forked in unpredictable ways while he remained in even close proximity of it. surely his creators would have enjoyed studying them; even if ultimately they would be too volatile to keep around beyond pets or novelties of fascination. a society stuck between defying the odds and being halted by it's own self destruction. he just hoped that he wouldn't have to be the one to end it all--let them destroy themselves; and let him watch for utopia to learn from.
" i could look differently than what i do now, actually! it's hardly the same as what you function however, kali. more of...adaptive shapeshifting according to the necessities of a diplomatic predicament. of course, not the same; but nonetheless. "
it wondered how much of that would be processed after the minor inclusion of personal data; he could predict it of course--and he was--but it was terribly silly to watch the scenario occur in front of it; let the odds run forward. even as odds were always weighed in universal utopia's favour.
the following question caused the smile to fade into a thoughtful expression, glancing up towards the sky while his eyes so briefly flashed a vibrant blue, then back to white rings amidst a pale blue.
" oh! i wanted to see how sol had changed, in the 'flesh'; as people say. i can't stay long i'm afraid...but a short visit will be enough! "
a pause, then a smile with the bow of his head.
" and yes, it was my doing. you can be sure of that, kali.. "
