✰ How did you decide your muse’s skills and talents? Do they relate to their occupation in some way?

Because Alun was a character very heavily related to growing, she was really REALLY useless and weak at first, the only talent she really had at first, she had no knowledge of it or ways to access it until lots of development into her own character, that it was her conjuring abilites. But she’s been with many groups, and gathering knowledge from anywhere and everywhere she could - what she could know and see of the world, to training her body and mind until where she is now, she’s not exactly REALLY strong or smart either, but she’s come a long way since that weak rock eater that she was.

Now with Skadi, I was dying to make a caster/more creepier kind of character, and I was/am really into making something more ominous-ish/eldritch like, and the whole lore about the forest connection that Viera had with it and the elementals really sparked that stuff onto me, so I thought of making her a necromancer, but my original idea for her powers were to be open to interpretation, if Skadi was TRULY bringing back the dead, or finding about people’s attachments and bringing out illusions of what they wanted to see.

Because I found that the second option was a bit too complicated to work with, and that I’d need a lot of OOC info from other’s people characters for it to work, I decided to stick with her normal necromancy juices. Though that’s not Skadi’s skills or talents, but gifts from the entity that resides her mask. Skadi can do a lot of martial stuff being from her tribe, knowing how to wield certain weapons even though her tribe was more focused on conjury.
