Thanks to @palarer , here's some more info about this new little promo campaign that seems to have kicked up.

Stranger Universe on YT received a package containing the VHS tape used in the IG post from Google. There are apparently 11 copies of this VHS tape out there in the world and it includes "exclusive...content that until this moment, has been accessible solely to you and ten other lucky fans."

The packaging is super cool, with dates and signatures from various characters through the years of the show's plot lines. That completely blacked out one makes me very curious--wonder what spoiler that's trying to hide. Anyway, who knows when we'll see what's on the VHS tapes, as it's pretty much implies there's going to be more to Snowball '84 than we know right now if there's "exclusive content" being marketed.

Curious as to who the others are that got this tape as well. Do other tapes also have this label to Snowball '84 or are there other recorded moments out there soon to recontextualize the current canon? But for now this is lending a hand into the fact the Mind Flayer watched the kids at Snowball and has taken that into consideration for its plans, shown at the end of S2.

Things that actually happened in my class, in terms of Homestuck, but instead it happened today.

The annoying dumb jock that sits next to me searched up "Dirk Strider" on our school computers and was calling me weird because he saw in the wiki that Dirk is gay.

He also proceeded to steal my DirkJake fanart, proceeding into a Penis Ouija type of interaction.

My teacher told me that I was becoming unwell, and that my obsession with the Striders is too chronic.

I had to explain to the boy beside me that when Terezi, Dirk, and Rose were holding hands in Beyond Canon, that it was not at all romantic.

I started tweaking out when I saw my friends drinking Faygo, and another one of them eating Fruit Gushers. I explained to them how it was Homestuck related, and they let me keep one of their Faygo bottles.
