re ask game: trios

also I recognise trios are not technically a chara archetype but they are. to me.

trios are literally perfect when it comes to characterbalancing like a triangle is literally the perfect (most stable) shape. is the thing.

like anything about three gets broken down into pairs (if it's an odd number, pairs + a trio/odd one out); pairs are too, like. simple and isolated.

threes are like u're juggling and u have to manage individual dynamics and also how those individual dynamics interact with each other and it's literally a balancing act and it's best if each of those ties to each other are equally interesting. like do u see they're literally— [i'm dragged off stage struggling]
