Week Thirty Seven!
“Leave! Go! Get out! Vamoose your caboose!”
His eyebrow quirks. “I have no idea what moose have to do with trains.”
“No, I mean –” Larb mulls over his next few words, choosing them… not as carefully as he honestly should have, with the person he’s currently talking to.
“… Move in with us.”
Skoodge stares, completely unimpressed.
“It’s a good idea! Just –” Larb breathes in, collecting his thoughts as he pinches his fingers together. “I understand that you don’t like me, because of the whole…” He waves his hand in lieu of a verbal explanation. Skoodge hisses and flattens his antennae. “… that. Or Grapa… But!” Larb claps his hands together. “I’d like to hope we’ve moved past that. Bygones be bygones.”
Grapa pipes up from his position on the couch behind the two. “Yeah, Skoodge! Bygones! Remember that time you scraped my ship? I forgave you for that!”
“You sued me the full price of your spittle runner.” Skoodge replies blandly, not even bothering to look back. “Twice over.”
“And all was forgiven!”
“I am not moving in with you.”
