Some of the reasons I love Soul (2020) so much:

- the music

- the animation and design and aesthetics

- the representation

- hitting the nail on the head with the Middle School band scenes lmfao

- the music 🥺🥺🥺

- the message: life, and living, is beautiful. (especially the scenes about appreciating the small things like fall leaves and blue skies and city lights. That hits a lot harder in quarantine.)

- the movement and vibe of old 2D movies but with totally different animation (that seriously blew my mind!!! It’s so beautiful)

- the MUSIC 🎶
