the other members of the 118 took me a While to figure out but i think they sort of. work

bobby: i think this is kinda self explanatory? he's the leader, the captain, the one who's sensible and clear headed and looks at the big picture and commands the team

buck: buck is sort of. the free thinker, the visionary? he looks for new solutions and observes and innovates and generally figures out shit people don't necessarily see at first glance

chim: literally the heart. to borrow a dialogue from the show: the place literally falls apart without him

hen: very much the healer, and she's training to be a doctor - a general surgeon! she works with her hands to bring people to life

eddie: he brings a certain steadiness to the team, grounds them and supports them. also one of the more sensible members of the firehouse, and the team without him is kind of. all over the place, not the cohesive unit they have the potential to be

dying to know your take on cas' favorite beyonce album. i'm tempted to say 4, but that's because that one is my favorite than any actual reasoning. sasha fierce and lemonade are both v strong contenders depending on if you're talking early cas or late cas. anyway, i would LOVE to hear your thoughts.

I WAS GONNA SAY 4 TOO!!! my reasoning is that while her first 3 albums are obviously well-liked 4 was a major turning point in her career and development as an artist. it's also the first album she made after booting her father as a manager which would definitely get a "wow... she's LITERALLY me!" out of cas

lemonade is my 2nd choice and it's probably because of the bitter angsty vibes of late stage destiel. sasha fierce is my least fave of her albums so seeing it applied to my cinnamon apple early cas hurts but... i can see it

I know you’ve already done your stuff but I just wanted to share something I live by when it comes to stuff I struggle starting tasks—I make a list, then set a timer for 15 minutes and just do as many things as I can from the list in 15 minutes. And then when it’s done I set the timer again and do something I want to do for a few minutes, and when the timer goes off I have 15 more minutes to work on the stuff I Have To Do. Having a time limit—and a short one—helps me focus, and more often than not knowing that I only have to do my chores for 15 minutes means i get absorbed in my chores and actually want to keep going when the timer goes off. It’s just a good way to either trick myself into focusing or breaking things into small enough chunks that I won’t be overwhelmed by starting.

yeah, i do pomodoro too! it's great for writing especially. the trouble i was having at the moment was not getting started but prioritizing. it happens a lot lol

i am sending you this ask because i feel like you are one of the only other people on my dash who will understand but i'm having a slow-motion breakdown about the parallels between yunmeng shuangjie and dean and jack's whole mess of a father-son relationship. turns out fraught familial relationships with a complicated history of dead female family members and attempted murder are my favorite kind of mess.

i almost wanna say that the yunmeng bros are a better parallel to the brothers winchester in that there’s the whole sacrifice/disapproval cycle going on and bc like.........neither yunmeng brother has a relationship with the child that they look out for that’s quite that toxic like. jiang cheng turns out to be a genuinely good uncle and wei wuxian hardly has a chance to find out what kind of guardian he’d be before the whole being dead for sixteen or thirteen years kicks in like

at least neither of them have at any point assumed the child they’re in charge of is evil incarnate and tried to shoot them with a gun

following you because i was looking through the tags on that controversial opinion post and i realized that you are the same kind of hater as me. also, sam IS jack's dad too!

hello!! i love finding people who are angry about the same things as me so welcome! i just checked your tags on that post and i def agree with you on all of them! i am a deancas stan obviously but i am very passionate about sam as jack’s dad rights. actually one thing specifically i wish they’d done was have him bond with jack more about having powers since they kind of dropped the whole psychic kid thing but it could’ve been so good!! and re dean and jack my feelings are just so complicated and i’m afraid of attracting people to my blog who genuinely hate dean. it’s also so difficult to pin down how i feel about them because part of it is genuinely bad writing and part of it is in character action that isn’t followed by growth in a satisfying way (again because of bad writing and dropping storylines) but it’s hard to tell which is which, if that makes any sense.

also your buckleming take made me laugh because i do agree with it. some of their episodes actually aren’t bad and some i do really like HOWEVER i literally just finished rewatching 8x15 which they wrote and that’s the one with the familiars and also one of the worst episodes of the entire series.
