Soulmask got a QoL update: dismantling buildings now refunds 100% of materials, and ship bugs are squashed 🛠️ Bee pupae go into feeders, barbarians dropped their ballista towers, and tribe members ONLY chill on their own ship. Fixed a ton of tech crap with roofs, statues, and abilities. Jump in and fix your base ⚡️

Soulmask is luring players back with simplified building, bases go up WITHOUT the usual grind 🛠️ A massive building overhaul drops next week. The key feature is Building Mode: hold the hammer, see all available structures and required mats. If resources are in your inventory or camp chests, construction is instant, no pre-crafting needed. Old methods stay. Also coming: compact garden plots, increased elephant carry capacity, and expanded zipline networks. Blueprint saving/carrying got delayed, implementation was trickier than expected.

In Soulmask:

Exploring the desert sands was difficult as the scorpions defy all logic with their size. Finally, we reached the point back at base. The ship was ready, and so we set off to raid the enemy camp for ancient technologies.

Upon first glance the camp was immpentrable due to the energy shield. But I researched technologies regarding cannons, and now we were ready to raid. Blasting the shield was easy. Two shots fired and it came down. The enemies fought with vigor and nailed us with balista. The archer on my team blasted the explosives to break down the barriers holding the loot.

Finally, after returning, I placed the fuel inside the ship, and she rose to the heavens.

What I really want is a survival craft game. I've been playing soulmask and that's been scratching the itch mostly for me. But theres something more I'm wanting in it that idk what it is. Still, it is challenging and it has been great playing for hours without having a problem or episode occur. But then I find myself getting kinda bored but I think that boredom is overstimulation because I find myself watching people play soulmask instead lol. I think maybe I'm obsessed with it or something idk lol.

Been playing a game called Soulmask. It's a survival craft game with a bit of a colony sim thrown in. You can manage your own tribe, and you're like the chieftain with various powers from a mysterious mask. It just got into full release with a brand new dlc you can get for free for the first month.
