one of the "safe" girls in the lineup (allegedly) left the corporation last week and soumu replaced her with another, but they're not convinced that she'll fit in with the other girls, and that's why they're currently testing the waters. their original idea was for some of the girls from r u next?, who are allegedly still in the corporation, and some other unknown trainees, but unfortunately, most of the members from r u next? have already left and hybe is left with almost no familiar faces (and some of them will probably debut in pledisngg). their concept plan is stolen to say the least - a mix of wjsn, iz*one and somewhat i.o.i., and their sound once again resembles that of newjeans and illit. this decision is another marketing strategy by hybe, which once again worries me that it will not bring them anything good and unfortunately, they will not only target the blueprint, but also the first copy of this blueprint, therefore newjeans and illit will be the next, but consecutive victims, and soumungg is hybe's new protégé. at this stage, the plans are these, but sudden changes are possible by the end of their debut preparation.

what i saw in their debut preparations, i see it staying - so stolen (similar to wjsn/iz*one/i.o.i.), aiming at korea (the world rx), with a typical sound for the 5th generation (similar to newjeans and illit). the reversed queen of swords seems to me that they will have weak vocalists, which is extremely typical for the generation itself, and through the 9 of pentacles i see "huh yunjin of the 5th generation", who will be a singer-songwriter (whose vocals may be angelic compared to many idols of the generation, but they will probably be decent). the ten of cups makes me raise an eyebrow, since the girls may be underage. i just can't understand why the reversed ace of pentacles is in the spread, but i guess it's because of their poor conceptual strategy.

most are korean, one of them might be wasian (with american citizenship, maybe), one japanese, and one from southeast asia, which according to my pendulum is vietnamese.

in two words, complete despair. in a few sentences, it's hard to feel how successful the debut will be. at least one of them will be involved in controversies at least in korea, which may not turn out to be true (i.e. le sserafim 2.0). their dynamics between them will actually be a complete failure behind the scenes, because the girls i see are very good actresses among themselves, but to my regret, it seems that they have confused the industry to try in, because hybe have successfully fooled themselves with their acting (i'm in shock about this, by the way). in reality, lowkey good sales amount, which may be up to about 300,000 in a week, but it may reach 500-600k in hanteo, which will be fake, fabricated and whatever else. with the tower, there may be a second le sserafim case (unfortunately, another garam), so soumu should be careful, because the karma that happened on belift along with mhj and newjeans is catching up with them. i doubt good rankings and even first victories, but i'll wait for everything to become clear and i'll ask again in the near future.

another equally anticipated group will debut with them on the same day (as happened between baby don't cry and allday project) and both groups will fight for relevance and popularity, and this fight will remain for a long period in many things, the two groups in question can be compared a lot in absolutely everything and it is difficult to judge how successful soumungg will be precisely because of this comparison. if not (because with soumungg sudden changes are possible), the five of wands shows a scandalous group of the kind of criticism similar to what allday project receive in the long run (i.e. adp are actually tolerable) and soumu will rely on scandalous behavior. they will have fans to defend them, but not because of their potential, but because they "idolize" hybe, but also haters, which complicates things even more.

disgusting. soumungg sincerely HATE chaewon, without exception. i've never seen such hatred and loathing (i should emphasize that it's not malice and/or envy... worse than the alleged hate from martin to newjeans that i saw weeks ago) towards someone in k-pop for the first time (i can compare it to kim yoojung's hatred towards song kang, because the energy here is so intense that it could be much worse than the relationship between kim yoojung and song kang). because of this, soumungg are not close to le sserafim and have no desire to get close to them. they have nothing against the other 4, but they hate chaewon will all of their heart and prefer not to deal with the rest of their sunbaes.
