rocky’s comeback will be as good as it can possibly be. he might do much better if he overcomes his emotional difficulties and anxieties (it seems to me that these lie outside astro/ fantagio), but at this stage he’s ‘stuck’ in a certain cycle where, until he realises where he’s going wrong or what he needs to learn, he won’t be able to thrive in the way he truly deserves.

he has steady sales and a loyal fanbase, but it’s difficult for him to move forward. it might even be a good idea for him to try his hand at something else, at least until the south korean government calls him up for military service (for example, by acting again somewhere).

first, i pulled two cards for the ‘piñata’ release – in this case, the ace of swords and the three of wands. the cards themselves are good, and we can expect – at least as i see it – the usual level of interest that nct generally generate. the boys’ success is well-established, which, given mark’s departure from the group, is quite good in my opinion. unfortunately, this doesn’t mean their success is guaranteed. it’s simply on a stable foundation that nct have managed to cement over the years (including nct 127).

as for the comeback itself, unfortunately, i’m seeing a sharp drop in interest in the sub-unit. sales don’t worry me, as the figures seem stable, but beyond that i’m seeing a loss of interest in nct compared to how it used to be. it may be because of mark, it may be because of a future scandal, but the key point here is the ‘decline in interest’. alas, i can’t see a specific reason why, as it’s beyond the spread for some reason.

i can see slow but steady success for kiiikiii. the comeback will be more successful at home (i.e. south korea) than abroad. it is possible that they will face mixed reactions due to decisions made by starship. i wouldn’t rule out the possibility that, throughout the entire era from the release onwards, there may be elements created by ai, which could lead to some criticism (e.g. some of the new challenges posted on social media).

‘pop off pop off’ will enter the local charts, but will take a long time to reach the top 10 in the six main charts (in this case, i'm including youtube music and spotify).

music show wins are possible, but there’s a chance they’ll be rigged (or that there will be rigged ones), as there are other companies which, for whatever reason, are also rigging their groups to secure music show wins in the same way during the same period.

as far as i recall, they’ll be releasing a physical album. sales are stable, with a slight upturn possible, but it seems to me they’ll be closer to the results of delulu pack rather than those of uncut gem.

the girls’ success is good news for digital platforms, but when it comes to physical albums, things get a bit unclear for me.

i don’t see anything out of the ordinary. wayv have cemented their success and their sales are stable. whatever gigs they have, they’re still there and nothing’s changed… what worries me is that the guys are expecting a higher percentage of the profits, but they won’t get it. i’m not sure what’s going on with their contract negotiations, but it’s possible that this could influence their decision on whether to stay with sme or not (with the exception of ten, who left on his own).

like their korean comeback, zerobaseone will do quite well, but with a drop in sales because of yuehuaz’ departure of the group. i can’t say for certain whether they’ve lost fans in japan as well due to the same reason, but i wouldn’t rule out that possibility either.

they have a few gigs in japan that will bring in good money, but these seem to be more solo ones than group-related gigs. nonetheless, it's stable with zb1.

i’m worried that interest in their debut will be lower than expected. i feel that their success is very hollow and utterly lacklustre. it will be backed by s2u, but outside of them, interest in it is far weaker. i’m also worried that sme won’t make any profit from their japanese debut, because whatever they earn will be skimmed off. thank goodness, not by sponsor-nim, but by sme’s other investors (i’m not sure if they’re korean or japanese).

compared to gpp, h2h will debut there better, but their success won’t live up to sme’s expectations.
