Spell Challenge Day 11: Vegetable Soup for Creativity and Inpsiration
Here is some kitchen magic to help bring creativity and inspiration when you need it as well as give you a yummy meal.
Beans of choice (I personally use Red or Kidney; creativity, inspiration)
Tomato (creativity, positive energy)
Carrots (visions, creativity)
Onions (positive energy, dreams, inspiration)
Green beans (creativity, inspiration)
Basil (focus of the mind, success)
Onion Salt/Powder (positive energy, dreams, inspiration)
Rosemary (creativity, inspiration, success)
Turkey Broth (for a vegan/vegetarian dish can be replaced with vegetable stock or tomato soup/paste)
In a large pot begin to boil your water. Mind you I am no chef but I always start with just the basics of getting your water ready. I usually, personally, do half water half broth but feel free to change this as you please, this recipe is pretty flexible. Add your broth to the water.
Wash all of your veggies. If you don’t have fresh vegetables, its alright, frozen and canned ones work just fine. I honestly use a mix of frozen and fresh when making soups. Begin chopping your veggies that need it, carefully of course.
Once you have everything chopped up add it to your broth. Generously season with sea salt and pepper (or to your taste). Add a dash of parsley, basil, onion powder and rosemary. Taste it regularly to ensure you like the taste.
Stir your soup occasionally clockwise. Each time you stir imagine the energies of the soup increasing and building up with your intent, which is to inspire you and get your creative juices flowing. Be sure to carefully skim any foam forming at the top. When stirring, “Soup soup for the mind, creativity I will find.” Say it once or twice each time you stir.
Cook until all vegetables are nice and cooked through. I usually keep it at a low boil for most of the cooking time and keep it covered. I prefer cooking on a low or medium flame/setting when it comes to soup.
Let it cool a bit but serve when still hot. If you desire a starch with it you can serve it over potatoes, rice or noodles of your choosing or you can just eat the soup as it is. Eat and enjoy.
For extra energy or inspiration I like to play music as I cook and eat to help.
