A classic breakfast food, these buttermilk waffles are light, fluffy, and a little sour. It's great for a relaxing brunch on the weekend or any time you want to treat yourself to a tasty breakfast in the morning.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups buttermilk. 2 large eggs. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer instructions. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if there are some lumps. Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or a small amount of melted butter. Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the preheated waffle iron amount may vary depending on your iron's size, and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp. Carefully remove the waffles from the iron and serve immediately with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream. Enjoy your light and fluffy buttermilk waffles!

It's fun to eat something soft and sweet like these Greek Yogurt Soft Sugar Cookies. Adding Greek yogurt gives them a unique texture and a slightly sour taste. Perfect for any event!
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar. 1 cup Greek yogurt. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 2 large eggs. 4 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar. Additional granulated sugar for rolling cookies.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll them in additional granulated sugar to coat. Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each dough ball slightly with the bottom of a glass or your fingers. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious Greek Yogurt Soft Sugar Cookies!

The sweet peaches, sour raspberries, and tangy lemon juice in this Raspberry Peach Lemonade Smoothie go so well together. Start your day off right with this or eat it as a cool snack on a hot day. The Greek yogurt makes it creamier, and you can add a little honey to make it sweeter or less sweet as you like.
Ingredients: 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries. 1 ripe peach, peeled and diced. 1/2 lemon, juiced. 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt. 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk. 1 tablespoon honey optional. Ice cubes optional.
Instructions: Place the raspberries, diced peach, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey if using in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a few ice cubes to thin it out and make it colder. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired. Blend again until everything is well combined. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. You can garnish with a raspberry or lemon slice if you like. Enjoy your refreshing Raspberry Peach Lemonade Smoothie!
