So I need help from the art history side of tumblr rn, I’m writing a really important paper(like fail or redo the year kind of paper) and it’s about the historical evolution of the paintbrush, HOWEVER that specific topic is turning out to be almost impossible to find some reputable sources that don’t cite back to itself(looking at you Britannica). I don’t know if it’s bc I don’t know how to look up stuff properly or if it’s just a really niche subject(you’d think it would be just as discussed and researched as paints, but apparently not, at least not what I can see)

If anyone is an expert in the field or know of a paper or could just help me out with some decent search words and terms and also good source finding sites I would be incredibly appreciative! I’m kind of in a panic rn bc my teacher is threatening to fail me if I don’t find something decent, like yesterday..!

Alright Tumblr, I’m hoping you guys can help me out on this weird request.

I’m searching for a piece of art that showed Vivi from Final Fantasy IX grinning with sharp teeth. I remember it being either on here or DeviantArt, and I’m SURE it was a sketch...

If anyone knows where this may be located, please do tell, I will love you forever. It’s probably the only piece of art that depicts the Black Mages actually having mouths aside from the low-res official concept art.

Need pictures of big cat/cat skulls!

I do educational lectures at my college in the Vulture Culture club I run about animal anatomy! I currenlty own a bobcat skull, but do not have a domestic feline, nor any big cat skull. For some reason it's not easy getting good pictures of big cat skulls and I could really use them! My question/plea would be if any of you out there have pictures of your cat, bobcat, mountain lion, leopard, lion skulls etc. if you could send them my way? I would appreciate it immensely and it would help me in so many ways! Even if you know of other sources to get this information and pictures I'd love you for it! I'd also really appreciate anything articulated related to this as well, or any pictures/details of preserved paws, mummified heads, pelt details etc.!

so i got these at sakuracon 2017, but the problem is I wasnt able to get their 

buisiness card and reverse image search isn’t helping -_- anyways im pretty sure im follow them, but I follow like 3k+ people so....;_; does anyone know the artist who drew these? MY friend and I  want to find their art
