I am sad. I am so sad. And it frustrates me that I can't communicate how sad I am to the people in my life who aren't into YouTube and the Internets like I am. I can't make them understand. It's a thousand times worse than a favorite character dying, because these aren't just characters. These are real living beings you grow to care for and respect and genuinely wish for their well being. These are people who I follow on social media and who I listen to and/or watch on a weekly basis via their podcasts or personal videos. Who have made me laugh after having hard times at work or school. Whose stories that they shared made me feel less alone and who I could relate to on things where's people in my everyday life just can't sometimes. And now it's just gone. They're still here, I know. And I will continue to watch and listen to the different content they will put out. But it won't be the same. That magical atmosphere won't exist again as it did a week ago. And it pisses me off SO MUCH. Like Candace said in the live stream, they were cut off at the knees. It wasn't fair and it makes me hate corporate America that much more. I've been resisting going down the rabbit hole of rewatching videos because I'm not sure if I can't crawl back out in a reasonable amount of time. It's not like college days where I could spend a week wallowing in a pit of despair and unproductivity. I'm taking this really hard. Admittedly, maybe more than I should. I don't know. I regret not being more active in he community and Reddit while it was still active. I had always wanted to submit questions and fan art but never did because I figured they'd be around for the foreseeable future. I don't know how to end this. I'll probably edit and repost this tomorrow because I don't have the heart or mental capacity to proofread the words I'm typing right now. I just needed to release these feelings out into the ether.
