Sour Cherry and Carob Cookies. ❤💙🍪💙 There's something special about sour foods in sweet treats and these #powersuperfoods #organic #sourcherry s are the bomb. Here's the recipes for anyone that wants to indulge in a #delicisous #healthyalternative #treat. VEGAN | GLUTEN FREE | PALEO OPTION Makes: 18 small cookies Ingredients: 1/2 cup rolled oats or quinoa flakes 1/2 cup sour cherries 1/2 cup carob nibs 1/2 cup Paleo Protein Mix or mixed nut/seed mix coarsely chopped 1/2 cup fine dried coconut  1/2 cup coconut sugar 1 tbs ground chia 1 tsp baking powder 60 g rice syrup 60 g coconut oil 3 tbs water Preparation: Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a large baking tray with non stick baking paper or a telflex sheet.  Add the dry ingredients to mixing bowl and stir to combine.  Melt the syrup and oil in a small frypan the add to the dry mix with approx 2-3 tbs of water and stir for about 3-4 minutes to create and thick stick dough that will stay together when pressed into  a ball.  Divide the dough into 18 equal portions and roll into balls and flatted out to about 1- 1 1/2 cm thickness.  Bake for 12-13 minutes then remove from oven and allow to cool before enjoying.  Store in the fridge to keep them crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. :-) #foodgawker #recipe # #glutenfree #feedfeed #eeeeeats #beautifulcuisines #huffposttaste #f52grams #thekitchn #buzzfeedfood #onthetable #buzzfeast #vegan #veganfoodshare #foodandwine #huffposttaste #feedfeed #f52grams #buzzfeast #eeeeeats #yahoofood #buzzfeedfood #foodgawker
