This Taco Pizza Recipe combines the flavors of your favorite tacos with the convenience of pizza. It's a crowd-pleaser that's perfect for family dinners or game day gatherings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 packet taco seasoning mix. 1/2 cup water. 1 10 oz can refrigerated pizza dough. 1 cup salsa. 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup sliced jalapeos optional. Sour cream for garnish optional.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 400F 200C. Spread the ground beef out in a pan over medium-low heat and break it up as it cooks. Remove any extra fat from the beef and mix in the taco seasoning mix and water. Let it cook on low heat for a few minutes until it gets thicker. Take it off the heat. Place the pizza dough that has been in the fridge on a baking sheet that has been greased and roll it out to the thickness you want. In an oven that has already been heated, bake the pizza dough for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it's just beginning to turn golden brown. After taking the pizza crust out of the oven, spread salsa all over it. After adding the salsa, sprinkle the cooked taco meat on top. Then add the shredded cheddar cheese. Put the pizza back in the oven and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles. Take the pizza out of the oven and let it cool down a bit. You can add jalapeos, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and black olives on top if you want to. Cut the pizza into squares and serve it hot. You can put sour cream on top of each slice if you'd like. Have fun with your tasty Taco Pizza!
