i think, for me, it’s the way she radiates lesbian energy when she has her hair in a ponytail. like when she goes from her kinda preppy look at school in the first few episodes to when we see her in the arcade with her hair up and her shirt untucked and rolled up sleeves? lord

I miss Cat Grant so much that it physically hurts. In losing Cat, Kara lost the reminder that while she is Supergirl she is also very much human and flawed and able to make mistakes but just because she makes mistakes doesn’t mean she’s defeated. Cat brought out the best in Kara and Kara brought out the part of Cat that had been lost trying to succeed in a male driven world when she could only rely on herself. I miss their interactions.

Because of how later seasons ended up, Caskett has been downgraded from OTP to just a couple that I absolutely love despite all the shit that happened in the last couple of seasons. Season 1-3 Caskett is still OTP material and Seasons 4 & 5 Caskett are still really good too but beyond that the show lost a lot of what made me love them and it felt like torture sometimes to watch.

I really loved season one RI but then I could never make it through the other seasons because of how they kept shoving men into these women’s lives when they were clearly happy with each other and I just- it ruined it a little for me but I still love seeing them on my dash and reading fanfic for them and such.

I love them and I will never not love them. They had such chemistry and a very strong dynamic and I love doing rewatches of the first ten seasons whenever I get a chance. I could never make myself watch season twelve knowing that it was Eliot’s exit and that what happened to him was never fully resolved and I do hope that before the show ends he does come back for a little bit. I will always love them though, always.
