It's Checo's home race weekend!

So what better occasion than this to share the illustration I made for Red Bull Racing's The Paddock contest from last summer?

They challenged us to daw the iconic moment when Checo Perez jumped into the pool after winning this year's Monaco GP, using an excellent shot by Vladimir Rys for reference and inspiration. So I thought "wouldn't it be fun and challenging if I tried to fix this moment in time and move the imaginary camera, to completely switch the perspective?". And this is how this illustration was born!

I did not read Midnight yet since my copy is arriving in two days. True to my word, I stayed away from the SP tag but I keep seeing posts about Midnight from other SP fans whom I follow. I always scroll down immediately but still, from what I can tell the book hasn't been received too well. Anyone want to get me excited and tell me (without spoilers) how great it is and how much I'm gonna love it?
