He just really really fears that others will leave him cause he isn't good enought for them which leads into him becoming a bit of a people pleaser

Also I see him just frequently going to Damien/Clyde to ask him if he isn't tired of him and if he isn't going to leave him, simply cause he is so scared of that happening

For they common ground, I actually think they could find it a bit in a sport!!! Since Clyde's a jock and Pip is really good at dogdeball

I see Clyde just really admiring Pip's skill in it maybe and Pip going out of his way to throw balls only at people that Clyde doesn't like to make him like him more

Also Pip's just kinda a sporty guy in general (reminder that he is very skillfull both in dogdeball and in archery) and Clyde is just suprised how actually talented and skilled Pip is

#pip is not someone I ever really think about being athletic but he does have a wicked dodgeball arm #clyde would campaign every year to get him on the football team but stan keeps denying clyde’s request and also pip doesn’t want to play #he would appreciate having someone so in his corner tho #south park #sp clip

What are your thoughts on Clip (Clyde x Pip)?

It's certainly an interesting rarepair, but it's also an intriguing dynamic, what with their vastly different personalities & character interests & motives.

I can't say much on Clyde, as I've not personally delved into his character very much, & I know there's more to him than what we see on surface level, just like there is with Pip.

I think for them to interact they would have to be put in a situation where they would need to talk to each other, like for a school project or something.

Warning I'm probably ramble A LOT there so yeahh

Something that I thing a lot with them rn is how both of them haven't really got a great motherly figures - we all know how Pip's sister treats him and based on Reverse Cowgirl Betsy isn't really good to Clyde either.

I think personally think that while Clyde is aware of how shitty she treated him, Pip isn't aware of it at all. He has been treated like ever since he can remember so it isn't anything bad right? Also she says they're just playing so that must be true. (Also goes a bit into mu general headcanon that Pip at least partially wasn't aware that he was bullied by others)

Clyde is the person to make him aware that he hasn't been really treated well by her, and it actually hurts Pip a bit and Clyde tries to make him feel better.

Also I have this little mental image of Pip trying to help Clyde cope with the death of his mum. If there's anyone who knows how Clyde feels rn it's probably Pip
