ABOUT HIM !
Raised alongside his twin brother by their grandmother, Carmichael lived normally. The three lived in Hearthome City, the twins who always played together and their grandmother who watched them with a smile. They looked so much alike but were very different.
It was Allister who resembled their father, a boy who dreamed of challenging the gym leaders, Elite Four, and the Champion. He was sociable, friendly, and had a knack for Pokemon battles. Carmichael was different.
Carmichael was softer, kept to himself, and not at all built for battles. Instead, he was like his mother, a coordinator in the making. Despite never meeting her, it was old videos of her contests that pulled him closer to not only her but also Pokemon contests.
The twins trained separately before splitting ways when they turned fourteen. Allister to conquer as a Pokemon trainer and Carmichael as a Pokemon coordinator. Carmichael took time to perfect his team’s moves in a more artistic and beautiful way. It was Cleo the Glameow and Creed the Shinx at first, the cat Pokemon duo that amazed everyone who watched them. They were his pride and joy. Months later and Carmichael added Champion the Eevee to his team, they were the C-Unit of the contest world.
And they were good, good enough to earn two badges. However... that was it. Carmichael’s talents were good but not enough to earn any more badges or recognition. Each lost added to his insecurity and each lost made him feel like a failure.
It didn’t help that his twin brother easily dominated every single gym he came across. Each video chat was of Allister dawning a new badge while Carmichael had to keep himself from crying.
It was during his next, and last, contest that destroyed him. After losing again, Carmichael walked off the stage with his team, trying hard to keep in the tears before he was approached by a top coordinator. This top coordinator told him that his Pokemon were beautiful but that was it. There was nothing special about them or Carmichael, that the young boy was simply wasting his time as a coordinator and that he should give up.
That took him to the edge. Heading back to his hometown, Carmichael gave up on being a coordinator and helped his grandmother around the house.
It was like that until his twenty-first birthday when his grandmother gifted him with a Pokemon egg and plane ticket to the Unova region. “You need to get out there and find yourself again,” she said. “You can’t stay locked inside this house for the rest of your life. You can’t give up like this.”
He almost denied the ticket, ready to tell her that it was okay, but something told him not to. So Carmichael packed his bags, his team, and a picture of his family as he boarded a plane to the Unova region. Though, he regretted the decision because of the news about Shadow Pokemon. A mystery evil organization and even stronger Pokemon? Yeah, not his thing.
But he promised his grandmother that he’ll go to Unova and find himself again. So here he is, ready to take on the world and to gain confidence in himself once again.

Contest Ribbobs: Two.
To tell his Pokemon apart from others, Carmichael gave all of them scarves with a lightning bolt on it. Cleo has it tied onto her tail, Creed around his right leg, and Champion around his neck.
His Pokemon Egg is unknown to him, though he hopes that it’s another cat like Pokemon.
Currently staying in Castelia City but makes an effort to travel to different cities and explore the region.
Lacks confidence in both battles and contests.
When he was younger, him and his brother used to trick people by pretending to be each other. Stopped when they hit ten years old.
