I painted some more of the Space Bitches finally.
I realized I could kit bash a Terminator Ancient using a spear and shield from a sprue of medieval weapons I had lying around.
I drilled a hole through the Terminator's hand using an aptly-named hand drill then cut the spear in half and reconnected them inside the fist. Then I attached the shield with glue and modelling clay. It looks a bit rough on the reverse side but I am happy with it. Here is a close-up of the banner.
Is it heresy? Only her hairdresser knows.
I wanted to call out this gal as well:
She was the only one of the group not wearing her helmet but I think her face turned out pretty. I like that I managed to give her stubble from shaving her head and even a widow's peak!
Finally I want to talk about this gal:
You may notice she's smaller than the others and her armor is a much older mark. That's because she's one of the original pewter figures from the old days! The mini is probably almost as old as I am.
Some people prefer all the models to be uniform but I like having my antiques. After all, Terminator armor suits are supposed to be ancient and handed down over centuries.
