Adam Warlock

So I just finished reading Infinity Entity and YES! MY BABY ADAM IS BACK!😆😆😆

And seeing that he’s playing a key role in Guardians Of The Galaxy TV series just fills my heart with joy!😊

I guess they are just building the platform for his debut in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 3. 

Here’s a few redesigns of Adam Warlock ,THAT NOBODY EVER ASKED FOR, but I did it anyway 😂😂. My designs were basically based on GOTG Vol 2′s Sovereign Population and Marvel Guardians of The Galaxy Comics (2008)

Also, I don’t know if Adam is gonna have the soul gem in MCU, like he had in the comics, or how he would have it, so I left it out. I did slap it on his forehead like he has in the comics, but he just looked too goofy, so I stuck it in the bottom 😜.

Who do you think should play Adam in MCU? My personal favourite is Dan Stevens. 😊

I'm still not over Jupiter Ascending

One of the things I keep going back to about Jupiter Ascending is how earnest and cheerful it is about being what it is.  It does draw from a number of chewy old space-pulp tropes that will be instantly familiar to anyone that grew up on a healthy diet of E.E. 'Doc' Smith, Harry Harrison, or Richard Matheson (not to mention Tron, The Fifth Element, Elizabeth Taylor, Terry Gilliam and so many more...), but it does so in a gleeful, unstoppable way that makes no apologies for itself.

Sure, the Cinderella plot is a nigh-incomprehensible weave of thinly tied together events and the BEST SPACESHIPS EVER OMG, but it's so grand about its own vision.  It's the most personal view inside a really intense daydreamer's head I've ever seen, right down to the god-awful dialogue that you can usually only get away with in your private fantasies.

(oh my god, the dialogue is so bad.)

It's a bright, shining gleam of cheesy Jo-Anne's golden craft tin foil in a sea of grimdark dystopia.  It hits the same joy notes as a really good corny superhero movie, only now with space princess, her pretty boyfriend, and Academy Award winner Space Bowie.

I should go again.  My God, you have no idea how much I'm hoping that within a couple years we're gonna have midnight campy cult screenings like Rocky Horror gets.
