rambling about doofus jer and space jer don't mind me
i feel like my bias are making me not enjoying space jer to the fullest. like I like him but I always ende up compare him to Djer in my mind (and like that intro scene really make it worse lol) and I kinda feel guilty abt it lol cuz I notice clear different on their personality (Space jer seems to take thing more serious and have his things done while Djer is more playful to his enemy he deem not worthy of his time (more ego) ) and space jer quite literally have more clear villian origin that make sense why at some point he ended up like this (i'd even say it's quite angst if you think about it) while Djer here, we don't even know what make him behaved this way. he just is 😭😭
but maybe that what make Djer appeal to me?? when this comic dropped, we don't really have a "bad" jerry. and most of time Jerry is viewed as someone incompetent and useless. so when Djer appear, and he is like the opposite version of Jerry, someone who is competent and successful, yet so cruel and disgusting. and you wonder that how come a jerry is like that? and i guess that missing information gave us the freedom to fill that gap in your head is a big appealing. (though Djer have 3 comic issues centered around him while space jerry has just one so it's quite unfair to compare them lol)
//I still like space Jer but with infos we have right now. I fear that my headcanon of him aren't going to be much in his favor or anyone who simp him LOL 😭😭 (and its even worse when I know he is a clone of Jerry who may/may not met Djer in the past)
//but also Djer has been one of my fav ever since i read his first comic (so 9 years now ☠️) so i guess bias is inevitable//
