Atticus to Bebe: Dear Bebe, isn’t it wonderful that Dani is surrounded by her ”books” everyday?She seems so happy especially when surrounded by the gaggle of pups that visit her everyday just to hear her speak and entertain them with colorful pictures! Although, I personally could do without the creatures like Miri that come in and out of her book place, given how they steal the best napping spots. Yet, Dani seems to like them enough, so we must tolerate them at least.
Library 📚 Dear Bebe asks???!!!! Yessss please!!!
Give the context of the ask I’m placing this during the time when Ava comes to be with Dani and brings along the grandest space task force along with him.
Bebe and Atticus watch and listen as the gaggle of pups lean in to hear what happens next in this tale, Danica has them enchanted and enraptured into her story. They sit with baited breath.
“Do we move to the next part?” She asks them. Her audience is in uproars of please and go on Miss Dani. Oh how she leaves them in such suspense! Bebe and Atticus watch the smile on her face grow, “ alright now let’s seee then…”
Story time is grand as is helping about the gaggle of pups. They also seem to like these “books” and Atticus and Bebe have learned well enough ,with Danica’s training ,where certain books could be found or to direct a little pup to her for help. They are also junior librarians don’t you know.
Additionally, these pups make excellent reading companions and chuff in pride when a little pup uses them as support as they read a book. Curled up and with pillows about so a little one can lean back as they open a book and read.
The creatures in the book place may take some excellent nap spots, but Atticus and Bebe get the grand honor of “Good boy” and “ Best pup,” as well as thank you snacks from the visiting pups!
But one of the best things….is seeing Danica smiling through and through the day. She puts away books, walks the pups to carefully arranged shelves and reads to the group. A smile on her lips and her voice cheerful!
The gaggle gasps when Dani must leave the story at a standstill with a promise of tomorrow’s continuation. Atticus and Bebe bark in greeting to the Chiss who has come around to take the three back the apartment.
The gaggle look to Ava and ohhh “ Miss Dani’s friend!” Bebe and Atticus bark in agreement.
The librarian’s smile brightens as she whispers Ava’s name, “ have you come to pick me up?”
“Of course we have an ice cream date” Ava reminds her
The pups bark in agreement, one last treat!
“A DATE?”
“ THE MYSTERY!”
“SO SWEET!”
“ I want ice cream.”
The pups help readjust pillows and push at Dani and Ava too busy talking gently to move. “ICE CREAM!”
They leave the book place and head out for a treat the 4 happy as can be!
Atticus to Bebe: Dear Bebe, I know you’re a bit spooked by loosing your teeth but not to worry. That just means you’ll soon be growing new and stronger teeth. Teeth that can be used against our enemies. It hurts which is why you must chew away the pain. You’ll have the urge to chew everything but I’ll show you what’s acceptable to chew. One thing you must NEVER chew is Dani’s “books” she will be extremely sad if you do and that means you failed in your life’s mission.
Awww poor Bebe! That must hurt so much, but yes thank goodness he has Atticus to show him what he can chew on, such as the pile old shoes but there is much more variety of items for Bebe to sink his teeth into.
The young pup looks about confused what are they doing in the red man’s office? Atticus leads hims to the desk, ‘the wood here is suitable’
He then moves to other furniture, ‘yes these ones as well,’
There are training staffs along that walls, Atticus plucks one-off and places it before Bebe, ‘ this too’
‘So the whole room is for me to chew on?’
‘Yes. Yes it is, delight in the bounty,’
The pup looks to the shelves, ‘ and those books?’
Atticus would like to reply with a yes but shakes his head, Dani had her little hearts set on reading those one day, and if that is Dani wanted Atticus would make sure to help her.
‘No not those,’

Maul returns to find bite marks all over his desk, a half chewed staff, and scratches all over the furniture…
“ATTICUS! BEBE!”

ALSO ANON, extremely sad Dani as failing in life’s objective? That had me rolling in laughter and also awww they just want their girl happy!
Atticus to Bebe: Dear Bebe, I never thought the day would come. Even when you first came to the pack of a puppy, I’d never expect that you would stoop so low. Ezra and Ava has already proven to be traitors but I though with you as my deputy, you would never do this to me. But what can I expect from such a greedy stomach such as yours? Tell me Bebe, where did I go wrong? When did I plant this seed of hate in you? (Bebe ate Atticus’s share of cake while he was busy licking the baby grapes🤣)
(The one time I feel this moment works)
Atticus cannot believe what has just occurred, the moment his back was turned doing his duty and grooming the little grapes/plums did this horrendous betrayal occur.
As Atticus finishes up with little Bo’s face he sniff the scent of cake and turns to see Bebe lick his maw quite happily. Frosting still on his snout…
Atticus bellows his anguish and the little plums follow suit. The elder chases the greedy pup about growling and snarling.
THAT WAS HIS CAKE!!!
YOU DARE EAT ATTI’s CAKE? You devor it while their? I thought you friend?! JAIL JAIL FOR 1000 years!!!
Atticus to Bebe: Dear Bebe, it’s times like these that, while not always preferable, it’s necessary to make a tactical retreat and stay hidden. I’m a big enough Masiff to admit that I don’t like going into the giant waterbowl and I know you don’t like it either. So no matter what, we stick by one another as to not suffer the coldness of the water bowl. Shhhh what was that Bebe? It’s the Red man and Ava, stay very quiet Bebe and don’t draw any attention to yourself. (Ezra finds them eventually 😂
Oh the betrayal! As Ava is now part of the search party with the red man. Atticus whimpers softly, he trusted Ava! The pups scamper away quietly as they can. If they aren’t heard no bath for them!
Ava betrayed us.
He just wants to help.
In league with the red man! Why I licked his cheek t clean him and this is the thanks I get? Oh and to think I allowed him to have the coveted bed space! Right by Dani girl! The nerve!
Atticus, Ava is a good pup! He just wants to be good so he listens to the red man. It is how it works well. Ava won’t bring the red man by he knows we hate the big water bowl!
As if by some cruel joke a familar face pops in, Ezra Bridger blinks at the massiffs, “ HEY MAUL I FOUND THEM!”
Atticus bellows and Ezra winces at the shout.
TRAITOR!!!
Atticus to Bebe: Dear Bebe, this is a bit awkward but other than the giant water bowl, I’ve never seen Dani girl or any of the other pack bathe. They have tongues, and they’re huge but I don’t really see them used for anything. So, from time to time, we have to bathe our Dani girl and, yes, this includes Ava too. Usually it’s best to wait until they’re lying down and oh! You’re going for the feet, right between the toes… well, you can get those, I’ll stick to just their boring hands and faces..
My heart ❤️ 🥺 and these poor pups confused and concerned about their Dani girl’s cleanliness and now they have another little one to worry about! My gosh they should form a union for having to take care of these two!
And yes how confusing it must be to see that these two have tongues that aren’t used for such a task! Atticus has tried before to teach Dani to bathe herself but she stopped when she was very little after Buir and the red man told her different. Atticus had been quite cross that his Dani girl’s good habits has been changed.
The opportune time to bathe the two is when they are getting up, it is especially easier when the two are both having a sleep over.
Bebe is struggling as Dani keeps squirming around and giggling. Ava laughs as Atticus licks his cheek.
It’s a morning routine and by the time they are finished up the little ones come to the breakfast table with cow licked hair… 🤣🤣🤣
Starlight and Maul try to wipe their faces off but the two just run off insisting Atticus and Bebe cleaned them up already.
Atticus to Bebe: Dear Bebe, while it’s been awhile since our Dani girl’s pup years, we must, once more, help care pups once more. This time, Dani and Ava’s pups. Now you must be extra careful with them for now as they’re newborns and newborns are helpless to the bigger threats. Lucky for you, I have some experience in doing so as I’ve known out Dani girl since she was one. Perhaps, one day, you’ll help another pup look after our Dani girl when I got to that large desert in the sky. If I ever die
At first glance I was like oh gosh how wonderful Atticus and Bebe now looking after Dani and Ava's babies, then I read the last line and wanted to start crying...while Atticus and Bebe have many years to live compared to other creatures ( this is my headcanon and I will die by it)

Atticus and Bebe poking thier heads into the nursery, quiet as can be. Dani and Ava are nestled onto a day bed each holding a bundle of soft cotton. Dani adjusts one and a glimpse of a purple cheek is seen.
A pup...Dani's pups.
Ava holds the bundle in his arms closer and smiles at Dani ever so gently. " your buir was right...I dont want to put them down at all."
His darling Danica smiles in return, 'It feels right just to have them like this. Oh Ava who knew you could love people so strongly so quickly ?"
The massiffs wait at the door, " Well our children," he grins at that, "have two others who want to love them just as much, come here you two."

Careful, gentle, safe. This is what goes on in thier heads as they set their paws on the bed. The bundles are presented, a soft purple like the twilight sky, black curls like Dani and perfect as can be.
Dani and Ava's twins...two pups to care for and love.
' They look like Dani...'
'They look like Ava..'
"This is Aurora and Boreal, Ro and Bo for short," Danica whispers, " I know you two are going to love them like you love me. Will you help us? "
Atticus and Bebe have cared for Dani girl and Ava since they were small...to care for thier girl's young pups well...an honor it will be.
Ava pats their heads, " The pupper task force has a new mission now huh?"
They do indeed, caring for new purple pups.

They are not as clumsy as Dani-girl but then again they are still small. crawling about and falling on thier bottoms. Tears licked away from their face and a gentle nudge to get up again. Atticus adores them...but cannot do as much as he once did. Bebe takes it in stride and does much of the quick jumps and rescues. Atticus ensures the babies have a companion when they sit down to look at those books and when they nap.
The massifs don't even mind when sticky hands pat their face, they happily get a taste of plum and orange marmalade. A treat indeed for years to come with Dani, Ava and the twins.

You know how animals will hold their babies by the scruff? I can imagine Atti doing this with Bebe, Dani, and Ava at one point🤣 Mostly Bebe when he’s up to mischief
Definitely to Bebe, that pup is always up to something and needs a reminder that some mischief is too much. Bebe whines as Atticus picks him up for a lecture.
He was once able to do this to a little clumsy Dani, but she was a mere baby then! Oh how simple it had been to pick up that little red pup by her clothes and make sure she didn’t get into too much chaos.
Unfortunately Danica is not as little nor is Ava so Atticus must resort to other matters. Danica is pulled back slightly, “ Atti…” he has latched onto the back of her dress. Always careful not to pull the fabric too hard.
“I’ll be careful.” She tries. Atticus does not budge. “Atti…”
He has done the same to Ava again for the same purposes as well as to give the boy a reminder to take care of Dani girl.
A puppers job is never done.
