N7 Day 2017: Sophie Shepard

For N7 day this year, I did a series of drawings - originally intended to be recruitment posters, but here we are. I might do a poster version in the future :) Here’s my Sophie Shepard: Vanguard, Spacer, Butcher of Torfan and all-around sarcastic badass.

“She worked her way into the hearts and lives of those who knew her, her electric personality and short temper drawing people in despite the risk of getting shocked.

He knew it was dangerous to fall in love with a storm of a woman, that it was highly unlikely he would come out unscathed.

Yet here he was. He just couldn't help it. Despite her prickly exterior and standoffish nature, he was falling for her hard and fast. He knew it was a stupid idea, that she was his commanding officer, that she was rumoured to be as ruthless with love as she was in battle, operating with a cold and calculating efficiency that would make the devil himself shudder.

But that was part of what drew him to her, like a moth to a flame. And oh did she burn, brightly and fiercely like a fire that could not be extinguished. She crackled to life on the battle field, eyes wild, all thunder and lightening. N7 Day 2017: Brooklyn Shepard

For N7 day this year, I did a series of drawings - originally intended to be recruitment posters, but here we are. I might do a poster version in the future :) First up is my Brooklyn Shepard: Infiltrator, Colonist, Sole Survivor. She's my Kaidan-faithful, thoughtful, religious, angst baby Shep.

N7 Day 2017: Izzy Ryder

For N7 day this year, I did a series of drawings - originally intended to be recruitment posters, but here we are. I might do a poster version in the future :)

Last but not least: Isobella “Izzy” Ryder, who wears her heart on her sleeve and speaks without thinking. Now, I know Ryder is not *technically* an N7, but her dad is and well, I did one for her anyway! 

“Up close, Isobella Ryder is a sight to behold, a pretty little thing with soft features framed by curly hair, her natural black roots fading into a beautiful lavender. He finds himself staring at her full lips, parting as she exhales, her green eyes narrowing as she studies him in return. He thinks she’s not at all what one would expect the Pathfinder to look like: Ryder is all soft curves where most would expect to find hard lines and defined muscles, delicate tattoos of flowers and leaves adorning her body, but then again, she was never supposed to be Pathfinder.” - From “Dead Man’s Dollar”

Drawn for Galexz story, “The Heist” for the @MEBigBang! I’m quite pleased with this one, as well... my first attempt at drawing a non-human character! Pretty pleased with how Peebee turned out. I mean granted, they’re humanoid but still.  I highly suggest you go check this fic out: even if you’re not a Reyder fan, the romance is not front and centre and the plot is sooooo good. Think Oceans 11, but with Mass Effect and way better. You’ll love it. I did :)

I am probably the most proud of this artwork vs anything else I’ve done up to this point (and no, not just because its Reyes *swoon*).

This was for the  @mebigbang, and is the artwork to go with the lovely @notebookalpha‘s story!! Which, by the way, is FANTASTIC, and I really, really suggest you should give a read: The Unrivaled.

She is one of my favourite authors and this one does not disappoint :)

Drew a little something to go along with @bioticsandheadshots mshenko drabble, “The Man Behind the Legend”, because well… mshenko in tuxes 😍😍😍 Also if you look closely, someone’s suit is all stained and wet with champagne 😅

And while not written for this, I do think this art lines up very nicely with my old (first ever!) ME fic, "Promises".

At least, that’s what I keep telling myself to avoid writing a drabble to match this rn when I should be focusing on my MEBB plot. 😓
