The period problem in The 100.

So I keep forgetting to address this but The 100 is a show about space teen agers who get shipped down to earth with no supplies. The first thing they’re told to do is go pick up supplies from a secrete bunker in a mountain right? Well they don’t make it that far as Jasper gets attacked. Okay getting off topic a bit. Two of the main characters are female and they have vaginas, now admittedly I don’t know much about space and radiation but I can infer by NASA’s almost mistake of sending the 100 tampons into space that one time with Sally Ride that periods still happen in space and we can also use context clues by you know the fact that their are teenagers to send down to earth anyways. Now sure not every ovary owner has periods but you would still expect this to be something that is addressed??!? Like how do they survive their periods on earth? A show that does a great job at addressing this is Yellow Jackets having the girls make makeshift pads and showing them boiling them and even having the pregnant one fake hers like!!! They didn’t even need to do a big show of it either in Sweet Home either tampons or pads is on a list for Hyun-su to grab and that works too. Like I want know how the grounders take care of their periods and if they share their cramp remedies with the skykru, does Lexa have periods because of her blood thing?? Like admittedly I haven’t seen past season three so I don’t know if it gets addressed afterwards but when Raven lands on Earth in season one it would have been absolutely amazing if Octavia asked her if she brought any pads or tampons because they clearly didn’t think this whole thing through. I mean Abby Griffen had a huge part in the drop and sending Raven down not only is she ovary owner but she’s also a doctor why didn’t she stuff a stack of pads in her daughters jacket pocket like make it make sense.

Hello everyone and Welcome :)

I’ve never been really good with presentation but I believe it’s important to, at least, know a little about the person behind the computer you know ?

So, my name is Laëtitia and I’m 23 years old (born June, 28th: any gift is fine, thank you :D jk … or not …). I live in a small town in Brittany, North-West of France, which I really love. Brittany is one of the most beautiful region of France, come visit us :)

I’ve been addicted to TV shows since … forever ? It started with OTH, Charmed or Buffy and it never stopped. The Walking Dead, This Is Us, The L00, Grey’s Anatomy, How To Get Away With Murder … I could go on like that forever. And I ship a lot as well! OTP: WayHaught / Clexa ♥

I love doing fans convention. I went to The Space Walker convention in Paris and EarperCon in London last year. Next year, I re-do them again! Space Walker 3 in february 2018 and EarperCon en September 2018. I really look forward to meet the cast and the fans each time and it’s such a pleasure to be around people who all have the same passion!

Oh yes! I’m a Full Time Earper and the cast of Wynonna Earp is the best. Meeting them in London was one of the best time of my life. Here’s my photo with Dom & Kat who were absolutely perfect. What ? My face ? Yeah, it always looks like that sorry …

And to end this novel, Lexa will always be with me. She was, is and will always be my favorite character of all times.
