I start my day relatively late, so it’s been chill so far! Hanging out with my dog mostly and working (remotely) here shortly

Ah! Just saw this... hmmm... well since it said “right now” I feel like I have to think of the first thing that popped into my head, which was Portland. I’ve never been there, but I have a good friend that lives there and from what I’ve heard it has good food and good vibes. I’ve said good entirely too much in that last sentence. I’m p sure I’d think it was very very very cold though.

There’s a commune near where I grew up and I remember one of the residents talking about division of work, and that when someone is sick or injured, their assigned job is to do what they need to do to recover. Definitely is not doing nothing.
This is how we try to handle it in our house, too. I think I’m better at thinking that way in others’ direction than accepting it in mine, but changing one’s way of thinking is...a process and a half.
