Finally, an end to a long day. Ulaz, dragging his feet behind him, opened the door to his room and made his way inside. He looked over to his dresser, considering changing into his night clothes and passing out for the night, but he decided that could wait a minute or two. He just needed a little bit of time to himself after all the noise today. He let himself drop onto the bed, sitting towards the door to his room. He leaned over and rubbed his temples. It was over. Today was done. Yet he was still sitting here, stressed as he was ten minutes ago. 

He wasn’t going to even notice if someone decided to walk into his room right now.

exhaustion settled deep in his cores; and thace loathed it. he loathed the way his muscles twinged with pain and his joints throbbed with ache. his hands shook and his legs seemed to struggle holding his own weight against the artificial gravity of the base --- and he hated those too.

he knew that recovery was a long road, but knowing and actually living it was two different things. all he wanted to do now was to curl on his zero gravity bed and wallow in his own misery. 

“can we take a break?” he asked krie. he didn’t wait for their answer, though, and directed himself to the hoverchair waiting a few steps away.

    The light of the flames flickering off Hellfire reflect in the green woman’s face, held over the Dunmer’s head and ready to strike... But Valvossa stops short, squinting at her in a near suspicious manner. She’s memorized what to kill and not to in this world, but she’s never even seen what this... thing... is, and it isn’t attacking her yet, so...

She always felt rather awkward addressing a slave, unsure of the level of politeness she should lend, yet not wanting to refer to the level of crassness most others do. Though she’s far from seeing them on the same level, she sees no reason to be rude when a level of humility will have them warm up much quicker to you.

     Easier that way, anyway. Less work to be done and no hands to be forced when they already like you.

    “  Refrain from being difficult and this process will be painless for the both of us.  ”

He loved this, being together with Krie by the ocean. While he could only be down there with them for short moments in time, every second spent watching them in their own element was magical, it really was a shame he couldn’t breathe underwater or at least swim as long as they could. Though now that he was on solid land, with Krie on top of him, he couldn’t help but feel a tad bit spoiled, which he didn’t mind.

As tired as he was, any semblance of that was forgotten as their lips met his. With newfound energy, he kissed her back with a sense of unfading passion for them. They made his heart flutter, they meant the universe to him. He broke away from the kiss, with a huge smile on his face. 

“I love you so much, you know that right?”

Honestly the last thing Prorok thought he would be doing was swimming through the oceans of the current planet the empire was mining to see if it had a proper amount of quintessence....

He adjusted his mask and slowly swam through the reef with his gun in hand should anything....hostile or possibly edible cane by. He’s hardly seen any of the inhabitants around, but he knows to keep his distance since he and his team split up to cover more ground.

He perked his ears when he hears something from behind a reef. What in the empire...?

Logic told him to ignore it...but he always did have a strong sense of curiosity.
