In The Incredible Hulk 271#, cover date May, 1982, future Guardians of the Galaxy member Rocket Raccoon was introduced. He was created by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema. The issue also introduced Halfworld and some of its inhabitants, including Wal Russ, Lylla, Judson Jakes, Uncle Pyro, Blackjack O'Hare, and the Killer Clowns. It also was the first appearance of the Keystone Quadrant Kops, Rocket Raccoon's ship "The Rakk' n Ruin" and the tank "Robomower".
