Chris Forsyth & The Solar Motel Band - Brooklyn / Chicago 2016

I’m spending the morning catching up with a few new Solar Motel live tapes: Union Pool 5/28/16 via NYC Taper/Acid Jack and Beat Kitchen 6/3/16 via Sweet Blahg. Some interesting developments -- the Chicago performance features a different rhythm section than usual, I believe. But it’s all sounding totally righteous, with the tunes from the recent Rarity of Experience opening up and getting down. Highly suggest you check out the Heron Oblivion and Spacin Union Pool sets from the same night. Philadelphia freedom.
