6: “ I lost the baby. ”
liang raised a brow at some of the glass windows of the mall, window shopping as he held young upa’s hand. he only really took the younger with him while waiting for his father to come out of the library store of the mall. being a library though for a toddler it was decided they both go walking till he was done.
feeling the buzzing of his phone liang took it out and ah, qi. pressing the button to take the call. “yes sir?”
“eheh you don’t have to be so formal still.”
“sorry. habit.”
“then again saying sir doesn’t sound too bad~.”
the sitter looked flustered and annoyed at the end of his phone like qi was right there. “funny. are you done?”
“yeah i just got-” as he went off on his rambling liang noticed something. his hand felt, empty. flexing his hand a few times he realized something- no someone was missing. looking around his space area, nobody. things started to feel slow as he looked around the large area of the mall not seeing a trace of upa.
no, no, no nononononono this couldn’t be he couldn’tve he thought he had a good grip on him. looking around more he took a step forward but where was he even going to go? what was he going to do? where could he have even gone? did someone take him? he would’ve known if that was possible right? but upa wouldn’t go with a stranger right?
“liang?” turning his head he didn’t even notice qi hung up a bit ago and now standing infront of him.
“hey what’s-”
“i lost the baby.”
“….what?”
he gripped qi’s arms tightly as if he was going to fall. “i don’t- know i- just didn’t think- he’d-” he could feel the other putting his hands on his shoulders. “hey hey hey hey it’s okay, it’s okay we’ll find him we’ll-” looking around the area qi noticed something peculiar by the mall map. a small, toddler sized figure holding one of the giant maps that came from it.
both stared at it and then dashing towards it. “UPA?” at the sudden shout the young one looked up at them both confused not even knowing the heart attacks both nearly had. qi picking him up and holding him as liang followed suite with hugging them both.

both sat on the bench sighing, qi holding upa in his lap. “okay…firstly,” he started staring straight at the tot. “why did you walk off without mr. liang noticing?”
“i thought you were fine with not being formal?”
both qi and upa ignored the comment as the younger pulled out the map, pointing his finger to a book pinpoint of the bookstore.
“…were you trying to find me?” qi asked, gaining a nod from the younger. …he laughed, holding him as he sighed a little after. “oh geez, he never fails to amaze me with what he comes up with huh liang?”
looking over he could see the other was holding his legs to his face and looking down forlorn. “ey, liang-” qi reached over to him but he moved his shoulder away from the almost touch.
“….i…failed. to keep an eye on him.” his voice wavered. “how am i to do my job when i failed the most basic task?”
“don’t be so tough on yourself i’ve almost lost site of him more than once.” it didn’t seem that helped well as liang still kept to himself. hesitantly qi moved a bit closer, this time the other didn’t try to move away. putting his arm on the bench rail he waited, and slowly the raven laid his hand on his shoulder with his body shaking.
“it’s okay. it’s okay.” he comforted, putting his arm over the other’s shoulder as he let out small hiccups whilst hiding in his purple shirt covered shoulder. it seemed like father like son upa moved to sitting closely between the two, hugging onto liang’s waist. instinctively liang hugged him close with one arm as he let out the fear that was building in himself.
in a small move qi moved them close enough to holding liang with both arms. “how concerned you are, really shows you care alot. so i’m not mad or upset with you over an accident.” he could feel him nodding in his shoulder as he calmed a bit.

the fucking cairnmea plot is a drag on the series and a WASTE OF TIME and this wedding chapter just proves how wasteful this plot is when chapters are dedicated more on this couple than anything else. sure, it’s meant to show their unhealthy possibly, but here’s the thing, WE DON’T NEED A FUCKING ROMANCE TO CONFIRM THIS! the lunarians have ALREADY been known to be fucked up a bit we don’t need this shitty ‘romance’ plot to prove it! we can be using the time and paper in this series on the more important stuff. if ya wanna make a filler chapter MAKE IT SOMETHING MORE ENTERTAINING THAN THIS!
this is BOOOOOOOOOORING and the fandom constantly on it is WORSE because no one cares or likes it but the series keeps going on with it and it sucks for people that hate it and people like me who couldn’t give TWO GODDAMN CRAPS ON IT AND GETS ANNOYED WITH EVERYONE TALKING BOUT IT!!!

falls asleep on the couch: liang on accidents…mostly. they have to wrestle on who goes on the couch on some occasions.
makes friends with the neighbors: jlkfdljkfdskl good question pffft. maybe liang knowing what he knows but otherwise they’d rather uh, not know these people thank you. they have enough people they know thank you.
is the adventurous eater: LIANG lordy big time. bortz says rock’s a possible bad influence on him.
hogs the covers at night: both it’s just a competition pffft. good portion of the time though bortz wins.
forgets to do the dishes: neither mostly…sometimes bortz though. sometimes inner brain schedules make you forget the basic things you were gonna do.
tries to surprise their partner more often: liang but it’s unintentional good portion of the time jlksfdjlksd. surprises em with something and everyone just has to wonder HOW???
leaves dirty laundry on the floor: -staring at liang- yyyyyep him.
stays up til 2 AM reading: bortz probably if it’s something they like. gets dragged to bed even tho their not stopping reading.
sings in the shower: jkldsfjklsdfk neither but they do hum sometimes.
takes the selfies: neither but they do have a thing of taking pictures of eachother sometimes when the other doesn’t notice. it’s like a fun little game.
plans date night: probably liang cause a certain doc mentions how it’s ‘romantic’ to plan em. they try sometimes to do such things but uh, half the time they just do more stuff their comfortable doing together. sometimes he’ll get it right like aquarium dates for example.
