Synchronized Spanieling: Chasing sniffs is the best way for Spaniels to catch up after a long time apart. Tristan, Guinevere and Kovu all having the best time, together. Sort of 🥰

It's Cinco de Tristan (he's turning 5 years on the 5th day of the 5th month, Cinco de Mayo) and we had a surprise for him: a birthday sleepover! Well, okay, @thelittlespanielthatcould 's Kovu is staying with us for a few days, but the timing was delightful 😄

The cockers are thrilled to see Kovu, Kovu is a little sad about missing his human but overjoyed to explore our sniffs again, and everything is currently ebullient.

Kovu and @thelittlespanielthatcould came to absolutely make Tristan and Guinevere's month, and Guinevere's Royal Treasurer absolutely failed to get any halfway decent pics.

I found a few more good chase pics from SpanielCon: Birthday Sleepover with @thelittlespanielthatcould 's Kovu. So happy, so bouncy, so silly.

Also, so much tail envy. Look at the pretty pretty little spaniel man with that gorgeous tail.

@thelittlespanielthatcould 's Kovu is a very mannerly young man, entirely capable of playing with food of various kinds while other dogs also have food. Gwyn came over to check his spinner a couple of times, but he shooed her off without rancor on either side.
