Adding onto the Zwei thing - we know for a fact everyone has aura, but not necessarily is able to use it (as we saw with Jaune), so it's likely something that has to be trained/manually activated. The CRWBY has also mentioned that something about him is a bit special... so personally at least, I can only assume Taiyang decided to train his family's pet to use aura.
That training is something I’d like to watch!
Is CRWBY a typo?
"i know school must be a sensitive topic given ur age thing, but: have u watched high school musical"

the update was everything I hoped for and more. thank u guys
we’re glad you like it!
On Blake/Yang - Ruby/Weiss (White Rose), Jaune/Pyrrha (Arkos) and Ren/Nora (Renora, very creative) were all pretty popular ships from the start, thanks to the way they interact. And seeing as they were all partners in the initiation... it kinda ended up bleeding over onto Blake and Yang, despite them not having as much interaction (at this point in the series, anyways!)
After reading this now I’m interested in the _weird_ ships, any fun names (if they are not based on events from after what I’m watching)?
Thanks!
I really enjoyed it :D
DUDE I LOVE CHRISTOPHER LLOYD
I HAVE the comics in a pdf, but I haven’t read them yet. I’m not sure I’ll do a liveblog (comics liveblogs are more the domain of @mindareadsoots, go check him out) but I’ll definitely give my thoughts.
Yeah, makes sense.
That was a really cool subtle detail!
@bakurapika come join the Discord if you haven’t already!
I didn’t have a real expectation. I expected a really cool monster design, and I thought I’d gotten that even when he was just a shadow monster. His true form did not disappoint.
:P
That’s. Wow. That’s perfect.
That’s adorable.
Yeah! It was a really nice throughline, and I loved Wirt’s character crucible at the end. A good lesson.
