Shop update soon!

I’ve popped my shop on holiday mode while I prepare this huge update and make new listings.

I’ll make a post here and on Instagram when it’s live again, and there’ll be a small discount for Tumblr folks again as a thank you for always being so generous and sweet and supportive. Stay tuned for that.

This update will feature those adorable mushroom frogs, some Friday 13th kitties, various pins, and some pride related goodies, as well as some mystery boxes of various sizes! It’s probably my biggest update ever and it’s been a long time in the planning and making. I’m so nervous that it’s gonna flop, but I won’t know til I put it out there!

How do you do that background thing in your pictures (like that new homeworld ruby & sapphire one) where there's the diamonds floating around like in the show? I use SAI but I could never figure it out. I hope you know what I'm talking about I'm not great at words

First you use the transformation tool to make a square and fill it with any color on a Luminosity layer

Then you spin it around so its a lil diamond shape

The do a ‘free deform’ and bring the left and right points closer to the center

Lower the opacity to whatever you want Annnd theres one diamond!

Now you can select the layer (or lasso tool it as I typically do) and do ctrl+c then spam ctrl+v a bunch of times to get multiple diamonds and arrange them to however you like with different opacity settings

Merge it all on one layer then repeat the copying process and maneuver and flip and transform the pieces to whatever you like and there you go! A sparkly Steven Universe effect~
