That must have been terrifying, and I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope that you are surrounded by safe people who treat you with respect now.

It was, especially considering who it was, and I wish I could just forget about it. He’d also mocked me earlier in the night, when I came across a terrain that I needed help with. I’ve received mocking regarding my desire to wheel myself quite a bit from that lot, along with treatment of my agitation in certain situations, which I’ve come to realize was sensory overload, as me just being overly sensitive/whiny/mean/over reacting/etc.

I’m only around them once a month these days, and soon it won’t even be that often. The people I’m with here are much better, and make certain to let me know that I matter, and am safe here. It’s a much healthier environment, which is why I’m so scared of losing it.
