I finally finished this drawing of some Spiderverse OCs

There are two species of Peacock Spiders that have absolutely delightful names: Sparkemuffin and Skeletorus (look them up!). So I decided to draw some spider-girls based on them. However, I later found that it's only the males that are colorful and fun, so I decided that actually they are trans women.

So they used to go by Sparkle-Spider and Skeletorus. They then transitioned, met, started dating, and now fight crime together as Sparkle-Muffin and Skeletoria!

Everyone, meet Sparklemuffin (Maratus jactatus). No, seriously, that's what these peacock spiders from Queensland are called. Their colouring, though it may not be pink, is still very vibrant. And to top it all off, when they're looking for a mate, sparklemuffins do their signature dance using their abdomens and back legs.

Sparklemuffin: The Witch of Ponies

Sparklemuffin, the witch of ponies with a saccharine nature. Sparklemuffin is the leader of adorable pony-like creatures that are truly human-hunting spiders. Sparklemuffin uses her marketable cuteness to attract little children into her fantasy village barrier and play with them, eventually tiring them out... where Sparklemuffin and her familiars will consume them down to the bone.

Mara, the familiar of Sparklemuffin. Their duty is to be best of friends. Usually, the Mara look just like Sparklemuffin, just with different hairstyles and colors. They all have the same sugarcoated irritable personality as well. Unlike Sparklemuffin, the Mara are not as well profound with the whole body, and will simply detach once their ruse is exposed.
