You said that Tika and Teel are almost identical to a singleton from the shoulders down- they still have a split nervous system from the two brains though, right? Were they able to learn mobility any faster than the average hydra or did that skill develop at the usual rate?
They experience more nervous system crossover than most hydras, where signals sometimes jump the barrier from one twin to the other - but they experience that as phantom sensations of the other twin’s leg, which is just confusing more than helpful, especially since it’s inconsistent. So they didn’t have an edge on the average hydra when it came to getting themselves walking.
They have better combined reflexes now as adults than most others though (by combined reflexes I mean: ability to react with a jump or breaking into a run or other kind of sudden combined effort vs standard individual reactions) due to the greater amount of practice they have with spontaneously syncing together.
