So yesterday I took on @spartan race Ultra and I'm sad to say it was too much for me. After 30km and 40 obstacles I had to tap out, I was struggling to run and soaked through. I don't actually think I've mentioned it online but our rats had little rat babies a few weeks ago, they're all getting taken to new homes today and I'll be so sad to see them go. Today I did the 1st-The Spartan Viral Race, I competed in the Beast. It was 13.67mi running with 30 obstacles (movements) along the way. It was fun however... I haven't been training for distance lately and didn't feel so great today but I was able to put another race in the books. Pic explanations- I wore my green spartan beast arm sweat band because I've never done a spartan without one. - might be hard to see but I had a lot of little rocks, dirt and gravel on my back from some of the movements. - and I listened to about 2:30 of one of my favorite books that seemed perfect for this run... Just trucking along and trying to survive the race.
