Jason Burgess (dad to Jim) aka Jas, a new gr8ful Associate. . I first met Jas through my hubby Si and I see him regularly training at the track when I take my kids to train. I love getting to know people and I was amazed to discover Jas is a World Champion! . Let me tell you a bit about him... . Jas is a retired boxer (Midlands lightweight champion) & he played football in the senior league. A few games for Leek town Buxton Telford. . His recent achievements are... OCR World champion VET won in Canada OCR European champion 2018 VET won in Denmark OCR World champion 2018 won in London I came 4th in 2021 in the Spartan world Championships in Abu Dhabi VET . He as also won all of the men’s health survival of the fittest races (Open) Edinburgh/Nottingham/Manchester/Cardiff/London & winning a number of the rat races OCR. . Wow - what an incredibly talented athlete, he certainly understands commitment and dedication. . OCR - stands for - Obstacle Course Racing, yes I was stupid enough to ask him! . Race Nation Kharkov Elite 5 km 50:56 @racenation.ua ⠀ Мне понравилось в новой для себя категории. Не смотря на то что лидирующие девочки ушли из поля зрения прям на старте😅 я больше думала о том чтобы просто финишировать, потому что тут уже нет 15 бурпи отпрыгал за непрохождение препятствия и бежишь дальше. ⠀ На рампе был небольшой канат, который помог мне в прохождении препятствия с первого раза. ⠀ Каскад думала сложнее дастся. В Киеве я там прыгала оочень долго, в Харькове получилось с третьего раза забраться, а потом любимые прыжки. ⠀ Для меня ещё сложное препятствия это пирамидки маленькие, это 7 или 8 треугольников, ногами нужно отталкиваться и перепрыгивать один за другим. Из-за того что они мокрые были и кроссовки тож, мне было страшновато что нога съедет и я могу травмировать колени. ⠀ А все остальное не сложно, конечно есть список над чем работать и что нужно хорошенько отработать) Например бег по песку с горками. ⠀ С девочкой лидером у меня разница 12 минут. ⠀ Спасибо всем за поддержку, столько приятных слов, голосовых сообщений с «давай не ной», на локации много людей поддерживали 🤝☺️ ⠀ Знаешь, сколько бы ты не занимался чем либо, не важно это месяц или 5 лет и тд... все равно поддержка это приятно и это мотивирует на лучший результат!🤩 ⠀ Ну и человек который бежал сегодня в моем черепашьем темпе и кричал на меня все 6 км, тебе большущее спасибо)) чередование поддержки и пиюлей сработали💪 @shaliarevych ⠀ Всех была рада видеть в Харькове, и встретимся на старте в Николаеве 3 июля 😎 ⠀ #бегущаяведущая #ocr #ocrtraining #ocrathlete #ocrlife #ocrrunner #run #runner #runnergirl #ocrgirl #racenation #racenation2021 #sport #sportlife #sportgirl #sportmotivation #kharkov #ukraine #travel (at Kharkov, Ukraine) https://www.instagram.com/p/CPvuF2eHy6n/?utm_medium=tumblr
