"Zach! Zach, wake up! You're having a bad dream!" Marcus shook the boy, trying to get him to stop thrashing around in bed. He was awoken by Zach's arm pelting his stomach multiple times. "Zach, c'mon, wake up!"
Zach's eyes shot open and he sat up quickly, his breathing was fast and uneven. He looked around the room, then looked at Marcus. He took a relieved breath and flung his arms around Marcus, hugging him tightly. "Thank god you're alive."
