🐾Special needs girl Sully is looking for a special home. She is mostly incontinent from a previous injury and needs a home where someone is home most of the time to let her out to potty. 8 yrs old, only 10 lbs, other small dog and cat friendly. She loves being a part of the family and is very affectionate. She is also active and loves walks. She wears special socks on walks because sometimes her back feet drag. That does not slow her down! Officially introducing Arwyn, our newest family member! She’s a 10 month old Frenchie puppy and dog show star who’s prospects as a champion and future mom were cut short by a diagnosis of hip dysplasia and early signs of Intervertebral Disc Disease. Her owner wanted her to have a home with the resources to care for her special needs. So that’s were I come in, Frenchie Mommy and oh yeah, veterinarian! 😁♥️ We had previously decided that three dogs was our max, and we didn’t want Olive to have to deal with a puppy in her senior years either. But we had said something similar back when Old Man Sailor had passed away and we wanted to stick to two dogs going forward. Then Lola came up needing a home, her previous owners thrilled to see her go into a veterinarian’s care too. And I feel tremendously blessed to have both of these precious babs living with me now! But the more dogs in a household the harder it is to ensure everyone gets along properly. We were most concerned about Toby, my problem child and trouble maker but even with him, little miss sunshine was able to placate. Arwyn truly is a treasure, she’s full of sweetness and a natural appeaser. She’s done great with my mega brat frenchies. Love this little girl a lot already and I am so grateful to have her! @Regrann from @norcalbullybreedrescue - ❤Found about a month ago abandoned in a creek bed, Buggy is progressing post surgeries. Buggy's birth deflects included one usable nostril, an elongated soft palate that constricted his breathing to a tiny pinhole in the soft palate and both front legs deformed including luxating elbows. The surgeries included making a nostril on the right part of his nose. The majority of his elongated palate was removed so he could breath without gasping for air and he had pins placed in both front legs to help stop the elbows from luxating. Buggy is far from done with surgeries on his legs but until he grows more we are unable to proceed right now. Hey guys, it's me Gussy! Unlike my dramatic brother Bernard I actually do have something wrong. I mean he truly could have won an Oscar tonight for his drama! Mama was not impressed... anyhoo back to me. Since, I am a shortstack, long bodied fella and also a tripawd it is really hard on my little back. I have been crying and anytime you try to touch me I scream. Mama knew something was really wrong because I am not like Bernie. 😂 I had an ultrasound just to make sure nothing was wrong internally. All looks good. My back is very painful and the pain was radiating around my tummy. So now it makes sense. My type of shape is prone to severe back problems but even worse since I am short one leg. All the stress is hard on my back. So they upped my pain meds and also gave me muscle relaxers to help with the pain. I will get rechecked in two weeks to see how I am doing. You can tell in my pic I am hurting normally my eyes are sparkling. Thank you for all the love today and I apologize for Bernie. He can't help himself. Mama has made it super easy for me around the house, I have ramps everywhere and not one single step but sometimes these things happen. Don't tell anyone but she is gonna let me sleep in bed with her, Bernie will be so mad. He's gonna be huffin' and puffin'! Look who went home to her Forever Foster Mom! Our sweet little sugar cube was stabilized enough and needed her mama! Cannoli is being closely monitored at home now. Her food is being permanently switched to prescription Low Fat I/D to avoid pancreatitis again. Her BG is still running high but she is heading in the right direction!
