I haven't heard any complaints, so I'm going to keep on keeping on reviewing the various queer comics that have come into my life. Honestly, it's pretty damn awesome that there are enough of them that I haven't run out yet. This week's subject is a new series from Dark Horse called The Once and Future Queen, which, as the title's riff on T. H. White implies, is a "Return of King Arthur" story with a female Arthur.

I definitely judged this book by its cover—I picked it up entirely based on the intriguing title and cover art alone—but in the end I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Kurilin! @jonsei93 I prefer to call her that over Kuriko, sorry!  Plus it’s one of the many names Kuririn in Japanese translates to in English ^_^.

Anyway since you were wondering about the redesign, here it is!

Short, stocky and muscular just like male!Krillin is. Gets that third earring later on when she is with Juuhachi, to match with him XDD. Also i opted for a pixi cut instead of bald or longer hair ^_^. It is like the perfect middle ground!

can you explain me what cis!bent is? and some examples? bc i did research but i still don't understad

Firstly the meaning of cis, or the full term cisgender, means that you identify with the gender that you were assigned with at birth. For example, you were assigned as male at birth and identify as a male. Trans or transgender is where you do not identify with the gender you were assigned with and identify as the other gender in the binary. For example, you were assigned as a male at birth but you identify as female.

From my understanding, cisbent means that the character’s gender has been changed to the other binary gender for this thread. (I say binary because there are other genders under the umbrella term non-binary such as genderfluid, bigender, demigirl, demi boy etc.)

An example of a cisbent would be say I had a cisfemale character with a female FC called Alexandra. A cisbend of this character would be making Alexandra cismale with a male FC and I may change her name to Brandon, however, I do not know if changing the character’s name is common practise.

I would like to point out that cisbent is not a good term to use and you should use cis!boy[character] or cis!girl[character]. For example, if I use Alexandra again, I would say Brandon is cis!boyAlexandra.
