For your every day villains, there’s no one more worthy of the title than a speeder.

You’re in a very heavy chunk of metal going at a high speed. You know that one wrong move could kill somebody. It even happens at safe speeds! And yet, your need to go vroom vroom is more important than human lives.

And no, it’s not okay just because it’s worked out so far. Every single speeding crash was caused by someone who could handle the extra speed, until they couldn’t.

I do not make exceptions for people who are speeding for “reasons.” Maybe if you’re in a rural area and the ambulance won’t make it in time. But for 99% of cases, you’re just making the passengers less safe, not more. Arriving safely is better than not arriving at all.

You are a horrible person and you should feel bad.

Was reading through Sheev's Wookiepedia page (Legends version) and apparently he was really into speeder racing when he was younger? And that's part of the reason Anakin caught his eye, y'know 'cause of the podracing? I feel like this concept could be expanded on though I'm not sure how

I wish there was a way to sort categories on Wookieepedia by era. I'm looking through the long lists of landspeeders and speeder bikes and so many of them are from the Old Republic.

And yes, I am The Kind of Person who needs to know the model of the speeder in the thing I'm writing, even though it might not come up. 8|

Star Wars - Corsicant air speeders

So its been a while since I talked about the SWG vehicles. all there is to say on the matter is that they're mostly done and tested. But if there is one thing I want to do (that I don’t know how to do) and that is is add a new FX bones to give the vehicles flames that come out of the thrusters. I cant think of anything that looks close to what i want though. Either way i’m willing to upload these without those thrusters then add that in the future.

Definitely my favorite funny thing about SWTOR are the speeders.

Whether its a taxi speeder or your own personal one, your companion poofs away because video game. Which is fine, but it is way, way funnier to think of them sitting behind you on the speeder bikes.

For medium and small companions its fine, a little awkward if they’re not your love interest, but not a problem.

But think of the more monstrous ones.

Think of Khem Val plastered to your back, Qyzen, Bowdarr, even Broonmark.

Even better, what about the droids? Do you just strap poor T7 or M1-4X to the back bumper? Is there a sad little trailer they have to sit on?

I just, I can imagine the bike all but dragging its tail pipes under the weight and a very exasperated player character.
