the stupidest thing about seeing red, and god there's a lot, is that judd winnick really just wanted to shove his oc wherever, no matter whether it made sense for the characters,, because it did not make sense for jason to be like "u shud kill ppl uwu" to mia and ollie, because both of them have kill counts. ollie was and continued to be a serial killer (ga 1988, longbow hunters, jl rise and fall ect. ect.) . mia literally maimed her rapist. and killed that one guy. what is your point babe. you're not making sense.
this isn't even a criticism of jason, he does what the narrative demands and winnick was demanding some cornball shit. but it's very public knowledge among heroes that ga has a kill count, and given what he did after dinah was kidnapped... does it really make sense to kidnap another person very close to him, winnick? does this seem like something your very smart oc would do? idk man. what the frick.
