So…. For context, Drake = Male duck, something one of my friends, Asha, made me VERY aware of when she posted this short fic about Tim being turned into a duck 🦆💖. Check it out!! It’s cute!!!

So when I made this art, it was largely as a gift for her and inspired by the fic while messing around in discord whiteboard again (though it’s not technically fanart for the fic)💖 but I think it fit the theme for today (wing AU) REALLY well!! I gave Tim duck wings, for reasons mentioned above, but also bc I think they are really pretty. Like!!! Look!!! Look at them!! The iridescent blue!!

Fully told, I had hopes of also writing a short one shot for today about baby (probably 11-12 y/o) Tim following around Batman and Robin on patrol, but…. He gets caught much more easily than in canon. I mean, duck wings are LOUD. And even assuming he takes great strides NOT to use them to get around while stalking his future family, in a wing AU it’s probably neigh impossible to not use them at all if you’re used to it. So I was going to mix wing AU and accidental sibling acquisition together.

But Cookie! I hear you ask, why not write that?

The answer to that is that I haven’t finished the fic I was going to write for Day one!!!!! I know!! I know!!! What the heck!! So I’m going to do that, and *maybe* I’ll be able to write a snippet to go with this fanart later 😔💖.
