Rich chocolate chips, tender toffee bits, and moist banana bread make for a delicious combination in these muffins. Ideal for a satisfying snack or a speedy breakfast!
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 2 ripe bananas, mashed. 2 large eggs. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup toffee bits.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl. Mash the ripe bananas in a separate bowl and stir in the eggs, vanilla extract, and melted unsalted butter. Blend thoroughly. Stirring just until fully combined, pour the wet banana mixture into the dry ingredient mixture. Mix in the toffee bits and chocolate chips. Grease the cups or line a muffin tin with muffin liners. Load the muffin batter into each cup to a depth of two thirds. When a toothpick is inserted into the center of a muffin, it should come out clean after 18 to 20 minutes of baking in a preheated oven. Once the muffins are taken out of the oven, let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling. Savor your delectable Banana Bread Muffins with Chocolate Chip Toffee!
