WITCHCRAFT COMMUNITY!!!

I am greatly struggling to find GOOD spell work candles. I have looked everywhere online and I can’t find any. My local area does not have a single store that sells the kind of candles I’m looking for. I don’t care what size they are as long as I’m able to carve sigils on them. I want unscented ones but also colored ones, and every time I look for colored ones, they are scented. I just want normal shaped candles, not spirally or intricate designs, just slim, tall, plain candles. Why is it so hard to find candles like this???

While a lot of times you’ll see the 7 day candle & vigil candle labels used interchangeably I feel they greatly differ from each other both energy + purpose wise. 7 day candles typically come already dressed/formulated for very specific aims; while vigil candles are more generally devotional- often times to specific deities, saints etc.

Also, important: be very mindful using shaped candles. Generally speaking I advise against using them to work on anyone but yourself. But they’re particularly great for healing so in that sense they’re very useful to focus + invoke an abundance of centralized healing energy on a loved one or pet.

🎨🕯️Art Magic: Flameless Spell Candle

Use an LED tealight or pillar candle and wrap with decorative papers. Use color and other correspondences and enchant your tools as you work! Attach personally meaningful enchanted symbols, charms, confettis, crystals, petitions, and whatever else your heart desires! No fire safety needed here kids (except hot glue gun=hot). Build up intention related to your spell's result and release it into the candle when you're done❤️‍🔥

🕯️ WITCH TIP 🕯️

You can (if you’re safe) rub a bit of melted wax from a spell candle into your skin to let yourself absorb the spell. You can also do this from a wax warmer, and you can also draw the melted wax on your skin in the shape of a sigil for more specific intentions.
