the silly has spice drops
Chart G finished! Would have finished it yesterday but I was busy dealing with a headache all day. My inlaws couldn’t figure out why I asked their damn kids to quit screaming and running around and pounding on walls and doors.
The damn kids are in middle school and late elementary school. I wouldn’t have accepted that kind of behavior from my two year old students and would have had them in time out pronto for it. I can only feel bad for the teachers of those kids, my sisters in law are both the kind of parents that don’t give two shits as long as they can still use their phone and aren’t responsible.
In other news, the lace ribbing continues. Apparently, if I had bothered to check, I would have seen that half this damn shawl is lace ribbing. There is no escaping it. I feel like I’m stuck in hell making a sock that just won’t appear.

Wolf-Speaker: Fish, Rice, Blueberries, Mushrooms, & Spice Drops
“Daine hunted and fished until dark, gathering enough food to ensure that Maura would eat properly. Fish would do for that night, with rice from her supplies. The game birds could be baked in clay for Maura to have later. Kitten found mushrooms and blueberries, which would make pleasant additions....“
“Maura shook her head. ‘Wouldn’t you rather have real candy? I have spice drops. You just reminded me.’ She fished a crumpled paper from a pocket and offered its contents to Daine and Kitten, who accepted with pleasure, then to Tkaa.”

This is actually a delicious meal and I highly recommend it, very little preparation involved! Cooked rice, smoked mackerel, sauteed baby bella mushrooms, blueberries, and spice drops for afters. I’ll make this again!
