Spiced Milk and Honey

Merry Meet,

This is one of my favorite recipies for milk and honey. During the spring and summer I just stir a tablespoon of honey into cold milk, but as we move into the colder months I love steamed milk with honey and spices! It’s super simple and tastes absoloutely amazing-hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

*2 cups whole milk

*1 whole vanilla pod (sliced open)

*1 cinnamon stick

*4 whole cloves

*1/4 tsp nutmeg

*1 tbsp honey

Instructions

1. Add the milk and spices into a small pot on medium-high heat. Heat the milk, stirring, until just under boiling. Stir clockwise to bring intentions (peace, relaxation, happiness, sleep) or counter-clockwise to banish (negativity, bad dreams, tension). You can also use your spoon to draw sigils as you stir.

2. Remove from heat and let sit for about 10 minutes to let the spices infuse into the milk. During this time you can do many things-draw a sigil in your mug with extra honey, set intentions at the bottom of your mug and let them manifest in you while you drink, or whatever special ritual you have.

3. Strain your milk and reheat on the stove until to the desired temperature.

4. Pour into your mug and stir in honey to taste. Sip slowly and enjoy the feeling of warmth and calmness.
